Nashville Predators President of Hockey Ops Chris MacFarland announced the club has acquired 26-year-old defensive center Jack Drury, forward prospect Tyson Bradley, and a 2026 third-round draft pick from the Avalanche.

In exchange for the package, Colorado General Manager Joe Sakic lands a pair of highly regarded former first-round forward prospects: 23-year-old Fedor Svechkov and 23-year-old Zachary L’Heureux.

Drury, a versatile and defensively responsible center, enters the final year of his current contract. Known for his high hockey IQ, exceptional faceoff utility, and penalty-killing efficiency, Drury provides head coach Andrew Brunette with a trusted defensive weapon to anchor Nashville’s third line.

In addition to Drury, Nashville brings in Tyson Bradley, a hard-nosed 21-year-old winger who spent last season showing offensive growth in the AHL with the Colorado Eagles. The inclusion of the 88th overall pick in Friday's draft gives Trotz additional draft capital to move or pick up a depth asset in Buffalo.

Heading to Denver is Zachary L’Heureux, the 27th overall pick from the 2021 draft. L’Heureux brings a rare blend of high-octane skill and a fierce, agitating physical edge that perfectly projects into a middle-six playoff role. Joining him is Fedor Svechkov, a 2021 19th-overall selection who has spent the last two seasons refining his reliable 200-foot game in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. Both players are NHL-ready and give the Avalanche formidable, cheap depth as they navigate their championship window.
