The Florida Panthers have dropped a summertime bombshell on the NHL, acquiring Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk in a blockbuster trade. The monumental move reunites Brady with his brother Matthew in South Florida.
In exchange for the 26-year-old power forward, the Senators receive a massive haul of draft capital, including two 2026 first-round picks. General Manager Bill Zito orchestrated the acquisition of the 25th overall pick just hours earlier by trading Mackie Samoskevich to the Seattle Kraken, flipping that asset directly into the package for Tkachuk.
