The Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins staved off elimination in Tuesday night action.

Edmonton Oilers 4, Anaheim Ducks 1
Anaheim Leads Series 3-2

Despite the pre-game anxiety surrounding Connor McDavid’s game-time status, the captain suited up and provided two assists to help Edmonton stave off elimination. However, it was Leon Draisaitl who stole the show, netting two goals, including a power-play marker that tied him with Wayne Gretzky for the most playoff PPGs in franchise history (23).

Boston Bruins 2, Buffalo Sabres 1
Buffalo Leads Series 3-2

In a game defined by goaltending, Jeremy Swayman redeemed himself after a rocky Game 4, stopping 24 of 25 shots to keep Boston’s season alive. David Pastrnak broke a 1-1 deadlock in the second period with a signature one-timer, and the Bruins’ veteran defensive core shut the door in the third. The series now returns to TD Garden for a high-stakes Game 6.

Minnesota Wild 4, Dallas Stars 2
Minnesota Leads Series 3-2

The Wild have taken control. In a physical battle at the American Airlines Center, Kirill Kaprizov put on a masterclass, factoring in three of Minnesota’s four goals (1G, 2A). Matt Boldy and Mats Zuccarello also found the scoresheet, while Jesper Wallstedt remained poised under a late Dallas barrage. The Stars now face a must-win Game 6 in the "State of Hockey."
