It was a night of survival for the veteran-heavy rosters as both the Pittsburgh Penguins and Vegas Golden Knights picked up crucial wins.

Pittsburgh Penguins 3, Philadelphia Flyers 2
Philadelphia Leads Series 3-2

Facing a must-win Game 5 on home ice at PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh leaned on its legendary core to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby was the catalyst, recording two assists, while Kris Letang hammered home a go-ahead goal in the second period. The Flyers made it interesting late with goals from Travis Sanheim and Alex Bump, but Artūrs Šilovs was rock solid in net, making 18 saves to preserve the one-goal lead. The series now returns to Philadelphia for Game 6.

Vegas Golden Knights 5, Utah Mammoth 4 (OT)
Series Tied 2-2

The Vegas Golden Knights spoiled the party in Salt Lake City with a 5-4 overtime thriller. After trailing 2-1 and 4-3, the Golden Knights found a hero in Shea Theodore, who buried the overtime winner to quiet the raucous Delta Center crowd. Jack Eichel had a monster night with three assists, and Brett Howden chipped in two goals to help Vegas. Mikhail Sergachev tallied three assists for Utah. The series is now deadlocked as it returns to Las Vegas for a pivotal Game 5.
