Celebrini is coming off a record-breaking sophomore season in San Jose, where he tallied 115 points (45G, 70A), setting a franchise record for most points in a single season while finishing fourth in the NHL in scoring. At the 2026 Winter Olympics, he finished second in tournament scoring behind captain Connor McDavid, notching 10 points in six games, helping Canada reach the Gold Medal game.
McKenna is the presumptive No. 1 overall pick for the 2026 NHL Draft. McKenna has spent the year dominating the NCAA at Penn State, where he tallied 51 points, ending up as a top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. At the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, the Whitehorse, Yukon native tallied 14 points in seven contests.
New York Islanders forward Mat Barzal tallied 19 goals and 72 points in 81 games. This would be Barzal's first international experience since helping Canada take home the silver at the 2022 Men’s Worlds.
Meanwhile, Morgan Rielly hasn’t played for Canada since the 2016 World Championship, where the team won gold. Rielly tallied 36 points in 78 games this past season.
The four join John Tavares, Ryan O’Reilly, Robert Thomas and Mark Scheifele for the tournament in Switzerland, along with goaltender Jet Greaves.
