The Philadelphia Flyers announced Thursday that they have signed forward Jack Berglund to a three-year, entry-level contract that wil begin in the 2026-27 season.

According to a team press release, Berglund will immediately report to the Flyers’ AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Berglund’s stock reached an all-time high this winter following a dominant performance on the international stage. As the captain of Team Sweden at the 2026 World Junior Championships, Berglund led his country to its first gold medal since 2012, he tallied three goals and 10 points in 7 games. Berglund scored a critical shootout goal and delivered a three-assist performance in a 6–3 win over the United States.

Berglund spent the majority of the 2025-26 campaign with Farjestads BK Karlstad of the Swedish Elite League, recording seven goals and five assists for 12 points in 40 regular-season games. He also recorded three assists in seven playoff games.

Berglund, selected 51st overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, becomes the fourth player from that class to sign with the Flyers, joining Jett Luchanko, Spencer Gill, and Noah Powell.

The Flyers are 40-26-12 with 92 points and currently sit third in the Atlantic Division.
