The Chicago Blackhawks announced Monday that they have signed Sacha Boisvert to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The signing follows a tumultuous end to Boisvert's collegiate career at Boston University, where the Terriers were eliminated from the Hockey East tournament by UConn on Saturday.

The deal begins immediately for the 2025–26 season and carries through the 2027–28 campaign.

Boisvert was named Hockey East Player of the Week on November 10, 2025. This followed a career-best performance against Merrimack on November 8, where he tallied four assists. Boisvert appeared in 26 games with Boston University during the 2025-26 campaign, logging 17 points.

Boisvert was a surprise healthy scratch for BU’s opening tournament game against Vermont on March 11 and was held out of the Hockey East Quarterfinal loss to UConn on March 14 for reportedly being late to a team workout. This followed a two-game suspension in January for a helmet-off fight against UMass-Lowell.

Boisvert competed in 63 collegiate games split between Boston University and the University of North Dakota from 2024-26, compiling 49 points. Additionally, he registered 113 points (53G, 60A) in 118 regular-season United States Hockey League (USHL) games with the Muskegon Lumberjacks from 2022-24.
