The Minnesota Wild have acquired Bobby Brink from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for defenseman David Jiricek.
Hearing the #mnwild are working toward a potential trade for Flyers forward Bobby Brink. Wonder if they're dangling David Jiricek or a prospect of that ilk.

The Minnetonka, Minnesota native has recorded 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 55 games this season with Philly. Brink is in the final year of a deal carrying a $1.5 million cap hit and will be a restricted free agent (RFA) this summer. In 201 career games, the former University of Denver star has scored 36 goals and 58 assists for 94 points.
Jiricek never quite found his footing in Minnesota after being acquired from Columbus in 2024 for a package of picks. He has been held without a point in 25 NHL games this season, averaging 11:43 of ice time. He does have two points and eight assists for 10 points with the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild. In 84 NHL contests, Jiricek has posted two goals and 13 points. He’s in the final season of his entry-level contract, which has an NHL AAV of $1,918,333.
